As a Senior Game Designer, I designed and developed core features and live-ops mini games that translated recognizable football moments into engaging mechanics.

Across these features, I focused on connecting the mechanics to recognizable NFL gameplay while balancing player engagement, progression, and monetization objectives. The features contributed to measurable improvements in key KPIs and demonstrated how strong thematic integration could support both the player experience and the commercial goals of a live-service game.

NFL Live-Ops Features

Clutch Kick

Centered around the field goal kick from NFL games. Players select a ball to kick and then are rewarded based on their selection.

As players succeed their kick located is moved further from the goal which increases rewards as well as their chance for missing a kick, this increases the intensity of the game as players play.

All-Pro Reciver

A fast paced game where players must tap at the right time to "catch" balls. The better they perform the higher their score.

If players timed their catch perfectly they got a boosted score allowing us to create a gameplay that appealed to less casual players without alienating the core slot audience.

Punt Returner

A runner style game where players direct their receiver around obstacles in an effort to score a touchdown and secure the best reward.

Pickups along the run gave higher skilled players a chance to feel they set themselves apart from other players without alienating the core slot audience.
